MOVEMENT: COBRA VINYASA
Start in child pose, sitting back on the heels.
On an inhale, lift up to all fours.
On an exhale, bring the hips forward and down in front of you, bringing weight onto the hands, gently arching the lower back and opening the shoulders and chest.
Hold a moment before you inhale back up to all fours.
Exhale back down into Child pose.
Move slowly and mindfully; keep eyes closed or a soft, unfocused gaze.
Keep the movement going back and forth; follow the breath and hold when and where it feels appropriate.
Focus on the connection between your breath and movement.
Whatever fear or anxiety or stress youâve been holding in your body, in your spine, let it all out with a sigh each time you exhale.
